The Continuum Life ("we," "our," or "us") operates The Continuum mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you use our App. Please read this policy carefully. By using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Personal Information You Provide

When you create an account or use features within the App, we may collect:

  • Account information: First name, last name, email address, phone number, and display name
  • Payment information: Credit or debit card details (card number, expiration date, CVC), billing name, and billing email. Card data is processed and stored by our payment processor, Stripe, and is never stored on our servers or on your device.
  • Class enrollment data: Classes you sign up for, attendance records, waitlist status, and associated payment details
  • Photos and media: Images you upload for equipment documentation, product images, or progress photos

1.2 Information Collected Automatically

When you use the App, certain information may be collected automatically:

  • Device information: Device type and operating system version for push notification delivery
  • Push notification tokens: A unique device token used to send you notifications
  • NFC data: When you scan an NFC tag at our facility, the App reads equipment identification data from the tag. This data is processed locally on your device.

1.3 Information We Do Not Collect

  • We do not collect precise geolocation data
  • We do not track your browsing activity outside the App
  • We do not use advertising identifiers or serve targeted ads
  • We do not sell your personal information to third parties

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Create and manage your account
  • Process payments for products and class enrollments
  • Issue refunds for cancelled classes or enrollments
  • Send push notifications including class reminders, schedule changes, and order confirmations
  • Display equipment information when you scan NFC tags at our facility
  • Manage class schedules, enrollments, and waitlists
  • Track product inventory and order fulfillment
  • Provide customer support

3. Third-Party Services

We share information with the following third-party services that help us operate the App:

4. Device Permissions

The App may request the following device permissions:

You may revoke any of these permissions at any time through your device settings. The App will continue to function with reduced features if permissions are denied.

5. Data Storage and Security

  • Your account credentials are managed by Firebase Authentication, which uses industry-standard encryption
  • Payment card data is processed and stored exclusively by Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. We never store your full card number on our servers.
  • Your authentication session is stored locally on your device to keep you signed in
  • Data transmitted between the App and our servers is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS
  • We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to:

  • Access your data: View your account information within the App
  • Update your data: Edit your profile information at any time
  • Delete your account: Request account deletion by contacting us (see below). We will delete your personal data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
  • Opt out of notifications: Disable push notifications through your device settings
  • Manage payment methods: Add or remove saved payment cards within the App

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child under 13, we will take steps to delete that information promptly.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy within the App or by sending a push notification. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
